Heat your Yoga Studio with Modern, Cost-Effective Radiant Overhead Heating

The health and wellness industry continues to grow at a rapid rate and with no shortage of information available to people on the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle, there’s no doubt that a well-balanced diet and regular exercise are at the forefront everyone’s minds.

The undeniable number of Yoga studios popping up left, right and centre in response to an overwhelming demand for this form of fitness is an obvious example of this.

Unfortunately, many Yoga studios struggle to keep their customers comfortable and warm throughout the cooler months and evenings.  Without an even and maintained inside temperature, yogic poses like intense stretching can become a challenge leading to a rather unpleasant experience for many and in some cases, the withdraw from this activity as a whole.

How can you heat your yoga studio effectively and efficiency without breaking the bank?

‘Comfortline’ Overhead Heating Panels  is a name synonymous for superior quality and reliability.  They are the perfect solution for heating yoga studios and other indoor and outdoor applications.

The Comfortline Excel range of panels has been designed with an upgraded, sleek appearance available in a range of colours to suit your studio’s design. They have an anticorrosive coating that will protect them if your studio is exposed to the sea air.

Comfortline Excel panels emit up to 10% more usable heat than similar panels on the market thanks to their unique ‘silicating’ surface treatment. They are packed with rock wool insulation to minimise upward heat loss. The radiant surface is designed in sections of naturally anodised aluminium, set in a galvanised steel case for strength. The standard enclosure is powder-coated in a pleasant off-white, giving them sleek and attractive modern appeal.

PRECISION COMFORT AND ECONOMY: Comfortline Excel panels are offered with one, two or three panels. The higher output models have multiple elements which can be run independent of each other giving greater control over the radiant heat output.

INSTALLATION & MOUNTING: Installation is easy in new or existing buildings. You can mount the panel directly overhead (brackets supplied) or suspend them. Comfortline Excel is perfect for overhead spaces as low as 2.4m, right up to 8m. For Yoga studios in particular, we generally recommend using the panels with multiple elements as opposed to one as it is more cost effective in the long run for the average sized studio room.

WARRANTY: These panels are offered with a 5 year warranty.

THE SCIENCE OF RADIANT HEATING:

These panels are based on the science of ‘radiant heat’ in that they warm people and objects, not the air. In fact, they absorb 85% of the heat which then heats the surrounding air.  Air therefore does not become dry like it would with a forced air system or space heater, and no heat is wasted if the windows are opened keeping your energy bills low and manageable.

  • More balanced temperature distribution, resulting in only a 1 or 2 degree variation between the floor and ceiling versus 5 or 6 degrees or more with forced air
  • Less dust particulate movement – reducing reactions such as asthma, allergies, mucous membrane infection, etc.
  • Comfortable humidity levels as there is little movement to create condensation, which removes moisture from the air. Lower loss of heat with pressurised air passing through window gaps and leaky walls
  • Reduced costs as zero maintenance is required as radiant heating panels have no moving parts
  • No drafts, which are created by air moving from high to low pressure areas
