Basements and Infrastructure – Danfoss AB-QM Specification

We are pleased to announce that the Danfoss AB-QM Pressure Independent Balancing & Control Valve has been specified in the Chilled Water System of the Barangaroo project in Sydney, NSW.

The Chilled Water Valves form part of the District Cooling Plant for Barangaroo servicing commercial buildings, residential buildings and the casino.

Total Number of Valves Specified: The total number of valves specified across all stages of the District Cooling Plant – Chilled Water System is 83

Valve Sizes: Sizes vary from DN65 to DN200 High Flow

Flow Rates: Flow rates vary from 4.40 l/s to 70 l/s

The Danfoss AB-QM is a pressure independent balancing and control valve is able to continuously optimise large HVAC systems towards greater efficiency delivering significant running cost savings. It has been a huge success in Europe, North America, the Middle East and in Asia, and has been the preferred valve to specify on several projects throughout Australia.
